My husband, Kevin Mack, and I started writing songs together in the early 80's. We formed a band to perform our original music. We played clubs in Los Angeles, San Fransisco and Wilmington, N.C.. The band was active from 1982 - 1993, although we continue to play our songs, write and record. We are always dreaming of getting the band back together and taking it on the road. We have had many iterations of the band, alternate names and bandmates but we performed as The Fringe for the majority of our gigs. Kevin and I are Ma and Pa Fringe on streaming platforms Soundcloud and Bandcamp. Our music style is original art music; perhaps Alternative is the closest description. When we do get the band back together we will call our long time friend and favorite drummer, Matt Fann. Trivia, lyrics and photos from 1982-1993.
