My husband, Kevin Mack, and I started writing songs together in the early 80's. We formed a band to perform our original music. We played clubs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Wilmington, N.C. The band was active from 1982 to 1993, although we continue to play our songs, write, and record. We have had many iterations of the band, alternate names, and bandmates, but we performed as The Fringe for the majority of our gigs. Kevin and I are Ma and Pa Fringe on streaming platforms Soundcloud and Bandcamp. Our musical style is original art music; perhaps "Alternative" is the closest description. We are always dreaming of getting the band back together and taking it on the road. When we do get the band back together, we call our long-time friends, drummer Matt Fann and bassist/guitarist Chris Wilson. Trivia, lyrics, and photos from 1982-1993.
