Little Rita Lynn
"Little Rita Lynn" by Snow Mack
36" x 24" oil on canvas
48" x 30" with mixed media frame

Little Rita Lynn, Back By Popular Demand!  Now With Optional Pig Nose!  Oink! Oink!

The idea for this painting came from a dream, working title; "The Benevolent Occupation of the 30' Girl Child, Pig Nose Optional".  The giant child is a familiar stranger forever bound to the dream world.  Through the key hole, the girl plays with living toys that exist in an inbetween space, a twilight zone.   Jellyfish spaceships & birds exist inside and outside of dueling realities.  The giraffe in my painting manifested in my husband's dream about tiny engineered giraffes. He started telling everyone about the tiny giraffe! The more he told the story the more the giraffe popped up in our reality.
