Drawings
Drawing in pencil is a very direct form of expression, the image relies on values of light and dark and composition for its impact. Drawing, usually with a mechanical .5 HB pencil, feels very fluid to me. I use paint brushes to blend and burnish the pencil into the paper. One tip I have found very helpful is cutting an eraser into very thin slices for creating sharp lines, such as whiskers on a cat.
