Passport Project

Passport project started just prior to my 50th birthday, I created this piece for a dream themed exhibit. My concept is that travel is dreaming in reality, especially our memories of traveling.  Travel and dreams evoke similar feelings of wonder and mystery.  For "Zero to Sixty", I expanded the first Passport Project portrait, adding additional passport photos, a school photo, ID and a Driver's License to maintain the square format. "Iam65" continues to expand the theme, with additional documents; photos of me by artist/son Jonathan Mack, Driver's Licenses, Modeling photos, Work photo, and a design project photo from Art Center College of Design. The "Iam65" list includes details, dates and locations for the 9 images in the collage. I am anticipating a next installment  of the project in five years, on my 70th birthday. Each photo collage represents my life's journeys, passports to a life of dreams. - Snow Mack
